MarginMax Bundles ("the App", "we", "us") helps Shopify merchants build profit-optimized product bundles. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data we access

When a merchant installs the App, with their consent we access, via the Shopify Admin API:

• Products and variants (titles, prices, images) — to let the merchant assign costs and build bundles.
• Product costs (COGS) entered by the merchant — to compute margins.
• Orders — to attribute sales of bundle products and compute profit analytics.
• Shop information (domain, plan) — for authentication and billing.

We do not sell data and do not store end-customer personal information beyond what is strictly required to report bundle sales (order id and amounts).

2. How we use it

Solely to provide the App's features: margin calculations, bundle creation/publishing, recommendations, and analytics for the installing merchant. We do not use merchant data for advertising.

3. Data storage and security

Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with encryption in transit (TLS). Access tokens are stored securely and never exposed publicly. We retain data only while the App is installed.

4. Data deletion (GDPR)

We honor Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. When a merchant uninstalls the App, their data is deleted following Shopify's shop/redact request (within 48 hours). Merchants may also request deletion at any time by emailing us.

5. Subprocessors

We use Shopify (platform), Render (hosting), and a managed PostgreSQL provider (database). These process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact us and we will respond promptly.
